I have a Garmin IV and I like it very much. It's great as a hand-held, and can be dash-mounted and plugged in to a car adapter.
It was designed to be able to take a beating. I've had it for maybe 3-4 years so far (I think it's been upgraded to the V or VI now).
That line in general is a good one. I'd recommend it.

What kind of cost are you looking at elp6n for the brand your talking about.
I'd like to try to get the people i work for, to include this in their spending, for the next few months.
To me it would save us a tremendous amount of time and in the long run probably pay for itself.
I've been thinking about a GPS myself, just because I have horrible direction sense [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
I'd probably go more if I could figure out how to get there lol
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
